Skills / Abilities: All aspects of basic wiring, lighting, switching, securing, load calculations, product knowledge, able to fully understand scope and course of engineers design, and execute accordingly. Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, Conduit layout, forming, bending, fitting (½" - 4" EMT, IMC, PVC, RIGID, ONYX) with smart bender, sidewinder, 800 series tabletops, chicagos, one shots, hickeys, or any other device. Full understanding of switchgears, bus ducts, transformers, frequency drives (experience up to 350 hp) new installs, repairs, replace, general maintenance, safely replace fast/ make fast/ break integrated disconnects with minimal power down. Design and implementation of back up power systems ( up to 240 KW ) generators, Automated Transfer Switch enunciaters, isolated fire pumps, and UPS (systems) excellent working knowledge of control wiring including inductors, low voltage transformers, relays, solenoids, micro-switches, rectifiers, voltage dividers, and the ability to troubleshoot (on a component level) TTL transistors, logic gates, latches, clocks, and other digital devices. Informal knowledge of PMBOK, and SIGMA6 including project integration, scope, time, resource, cost, quality, and procurement management.
Competencies:
General duty statement:
Able to perform lead work in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical equipment. Direct the construction maintenance and repair of any electrical apparatus. Apply for all permits and approvals needed for work performed by electricians in a department. Prepare reports, estimates, oversee projects, and schedule/direct staff. Work under the general supervision of unit supervisor while exercising close technical support of lead electricians, electricians, apprentices, and other staff.

~Complete and competent working knowledge of the NEC and NFPA
